Join us on Wednesday, June 19th for Random House’s SOFA STORIES: PAGE-TURNERS FOR THE COUCH, BEACH AND BEYOND, presented in partnership with Burrow, BookBabesNYC, and Read it Forward.

June’s selection is a One Book, One New York finalist. Published by Sarah Jessica Parker, A PLACE FOR US from Fatima Farheen Mirza is “[An] impassioned debut novel” (The New Yorker) and “the thinking person’s summer read” (Entertainment Weekly). Fatima will be in attendance and will go around to each book club discussion to talk about the novel with guests, answer questions, and sign copies.

Each month, we’ll announce a new SOFA STORY. RSVP for that month’s book club event, and we’ll send you an early copy of the book for you to dive into. Sign up by yourself, with a friend, or with your entire book club—the more, the merrier! On the day of the event, we’ll provide you with an abundance of wine, snacks, and stimulating conversation, led by BookBabesNYC. You’ll have an opportunity to go even deeper into the topics and themes of the book with friends, new and old.
