What would Love have you do today?
That’s the question Jacqui Lewis poses in her new book, Fierce Love: A Bold Path to Ferocious Courage and Rule-Breaking Kindness That Can Heal the World. The first African American and first woman to serve as a senior minister in the Collegiate Church in Manhattan, the oldest continuous Protestant Church in North America, Lewis has counseled others who’ve faced epic challenges—from devastating loss to the trauma of racism—and says we must meet those challenges with a love that is equally epic.
In Fierce Love, Lewis shares how to tap into the love that already flows through every fiber of our being, and walks us through the steps towards loving the world into healing—starting with loving ourselves. At this special virtual event, she’ll offer more insights and inspiration with us—“face-to-face” and heart-to-heart.
On Tuesday, November 9 at 8 PM/ET over Zoom, join Lewis in conversation with Wajahat Ali, Daily Beast columnist and author of the forthcoming book, Go Back to Where You Came From, for Well Enough: Family, Faith, Food, Fierce Love, an uplifting night dedicated to extravagant love, ferocious kindness, and monumental courage—brought to you by Well Enough, Random House’s wellness community.
Two ticket types are available for this event. Option 1 (open to U.S. residents only) includes a signed hardcover copy of Fierce Love, along with access to the Zoom and audience Q&A. Option 2 is free, and includes access to the Zoom and audience Q&A.
