In a tall glass, combine ½ cup coconut water, 1 tbsp fresh lemon or orange juice, ¼ tsp turmeric, ¼ tsp ground ginger, 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, and 1 tsp raw honey, and whisk until smooth. Sweet Cleanse Turmeric-Roasted Root Veggies

Turmeric is a magical spice for cleansing the blood and reducing inflammation. So add some to your roasted root veggies! Cut into 1-inch slices: 4 medium carrots, 1 medium squash (of your choice!), 2 medium red beets, and 2 sweet potatoes or yams. In a large bowl, toss them all together with ¼ cup coconut oil. In a small bowl, mix together 1 tsp sea salt, 2 tbsp coconut nectar, 1 tsp ground turmeric, and ½ tsp cinnamon, then toss over the veggies.
