Play It Again

A Novel

About the Book

When estranged friends reunite twenty years after the high school theatre production where they first met, they face fresh feelings, old resentments, and drama that doesn’t stay on the stage in a new charming ensemble queer rom-com by Georgia Clark.

Annie, Vicky, Lola, and Dylan put on the performance of a lifetime at their high school production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. But, when the cast party ruptures their friends-turned lovers’ relationships for good, the night becomes a painful memory. The friends went their separate ways, growing up and growing into themselves, but none of them are exactly... thriving, So, twenty years later, when their beloved former theater teacher asks them to come back for a one-night revival of the same play that brought them together, they all agree. It was just high school drama, after all. What’s the worst that could happen?

Heartwarming and brimming with nostalgia, sweetness and wit, Georgia Clark brings together another loveable cast of queer characters who re-discover their power through performance, their formative first love, and the friends who remind them that love is possible.
