Anusha Khan
Anusha Khan is an Assistant Editor to Susanna Porter at Ballantine. She is interested in contemporary romance, mystery/suspense, horror/thrillers, and upmarket women’s fiction. She loves to read coming-of-self novels that turn tropes on their heads and offer a fresh perspective, especially those with broader sociopolitical contexts that center authentic BIPOC voices. Across all genres, Anusha finds herself drawn to high-concept, propulsive, and character-driven stories with smart twists and biting humor. She has had the privilege to assist on projects like California Golden by Melanie Benjamin, Lexington by Kim Wickens, and Central Places by Delia Cai. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in English. Anusha interned at the Writers’ League of Texas before joining the PRH team in 2022.
