Anusha Khan is an Assistant Editor at Ballantine. She is interested in mystery/suspense, horror/thrillers, contemporary romance, and upmarket women’s fiction. She loves to read coming-of-self novels that turn tropes on their heads and offer a fresh perspective, especially those that center authentic BIPOC voices. She loves flawed protagonists, complicated family dynamics, juicy plot twists, smart social commentary, and a campy premise. Across all genres, Anusha finds herself drawn to high-concept, propulsive, character-driven stories with biting humor and a fun hook. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in English. Anusha interned at the Writers’ League of Texas before joining the PRH team in 2022.
