The Smallest Kitten

As the twins start a new school, Pixie is adjusting to being alone during the day. She’s easily spooked and still getting used to life outside the shelter. When Amina and Zara get into a fight at their birthday party, Pixie runs off and hides, and they have no idea where she is. To find her, the sisters must learn to communicate and work together. Chapters from Pixie’s point of view add a unique touch, shifting between the perspectives of fourth grade girls and a cat. Soft grayscale illustrations are sprinkled throughout.
